the hits they keep on comin'....ok really just the snow does

I went out and shoveled twice already tonite and I know its futile since its almost 11 and there is still 10 more hours of snow predicted, I just want a slightly less snow impacted walk to my car tomorrow morning. My neighbor guy across the way who is supposed to be all "I want to be a good neighbor" and "don't worry I will shovel" hasn't done squat. Listen... don't feed me a bunch of bull dude, I know you won't. Fine I will go and do it, but believe me I am annoyed with you so don't expect Champagne on Sunday Night (the tradition has been since M & C that I would buy a bottle for all neighbors) because it ain't happenin' for any of them actually (M & C were special as I knew then and definately know now...I do wonder about Al my Pal).

But... and I just heard it outside, there is a guy with a plow working on the parking lot which is awesome. Totally freakin' awesome. Sometimes the management company does come through. And as quickly as he was plowing he is gone. Believe me when I say this is probably just pass one through the complex.

Blizzard II is going to be a ginormous pain in the tuches.

Totally jacking up my weekend plans, but whatever. Instead of dancing the night away at The Church I am absolutely staying ensconced in safety at home. I might though go with H (not Herschel my neighbor H) as she is four wheel capable and a hoot (and she shovels for her neighbors...just kidding, I don't know if she does or not actually).

I am not one for resoultions because I don't ever keep them. I tried one year to be really vague about them and still never really kept my little personal promises. My friend G said he wants to "gain a nemisis", I thought it was hysterical because he is the most awesome guy on the planet sometimes and brilliant with his words.

Ooooo Plow Guy is back. Sweet, I am so getting out of here in the morning I hope. I would actually rather go into work tommorrow and leave early for the holiday versus taking 8 hours of my vacation time. Somehow 4 hours just seems less painful to me. And trust me, the only thing I have planned for the vacation time is a trip to see my brother and sister in law and that will be for a long weekend and maybe... maybe....maybe a culinary vacay to Vegas or something but thats a long weekend as well (and uber costly). So its ok to use the time for a snow day but only for half the day.

I am probably going to be the only administrative assistant on the floor so I have to make an appearance and be "good". This will bode well politically for me. Because isn't it all about politics in the end? Wow, did I just actually say that? Lord. I must be tired.

Happy Snow Bunnies and drive safe all you Colorado people.

OH and a super special THANK YOU to the service team at Mile High Honda... at 1:00 I called them about replacing my windsheild wiper blade refils (the ones I got at Checker were not at all easy to deal with) and they said..."come on over and we will get you fixed up". And sure enough, 10 minutes later, my new blades were in, it was super cheap, seriously, less than Checker and I didn't have to put them in and they offered me a snack while I was waiting. It was awesome. I worked for a guy who owned a car dealership and I know what it takes to provide that kind of service and most dealerships don't, so this was outstanding and it needs to be noted. And they have totally taken care of my Mom and her Accord... when I go to trade in for a new car (once I actually own my car that is I suppose... but I love my little Civic I don't even want to think about it) that is so where I am going. For the record.
