It only took me about three hours or so to undig my car out (well the area surrounding the car... not really out), get all the snow off the walk leading up to my car and a good six foot space behind my car. Surely they could have dropped plow and gotten in. But what it really means is that I can't get into work tommorrow. The snow is about four feet high in the drives and they are planning to bring in a bobcat tommorrow but that will be tedious and they have said that they are starting at the entrance on the other side of the complex.
I am though glad to have plenty of tv to watch tommorrow. I was really good today. Stayed focused with the task at hand to dig out a little bit so just in case they did get over here with plows I would be ready to get out. The picture at the left was at about five o'clock tonite when the clouds finally broke. It was incredibly beautiful and I am glad I went out and took like a gabillion pictures.Man am I glad to be inside. The kid with the Expedition just pulled back into the spot after trying for like two hours to get out. We all tried to help dig him out but that is a lot of snow. Yeah, I thought so. I think he maybe got 50 feet. Keep in mind he isn't on hearty tires, he is on tiny thin tired with no treads on fancy 20" rims. He's a great kid though and I totally dig the being squirrelly stuck inside vibe.
I might try and bake a little tomorrow. That was kinda on the radar for today, but I kept on task and shoveled. I worked pleanty hard today keeping the sidewalk and stairs and breezeway clear, so tommorrow I will wait patiently for the plows or bobcats or whatever to show up and just stay inside and chill. It isn't going to happen though, I am pretty sure. I was bouncing off the walls today as it was and I was outside workin', so tomorrow will be worse. No amount of banana bread making is going to fix that.

So keep warm, keep those shovels nearby and hunker in for the next snow coming on Saturday all you Colorado peeps. Sure it isn't going to be as bad, but really it isn't going to be all that good. It might also be a good time just to remind you... go and buy a spare jug of windsheild wiper fluid (you will probably run out or low in the melting over the next week or so) and wiper blades (the ice and cold on them is murder and could cause some serious visability issues). Checker Auto Parts is so totally going to be the second stop I am making once I can get out of my parking lot.
