So this morning, after almost two years (I have been eyeing this furniture since February 2005, at least), I went and bought the Borghese collection from ZGallerie. Chelsea the sales girl could not have been any nicer if she tried. There was no pressure, she asked me if I was sure and we went to the counter, I pulled out my card and done. The white collection was from the other place was nice, but not what I ultimately wanted and have thought about for almost two years.
I deserve the luxe. I should have the luxe. I can afford the luxe. And just for the record... the luxe... less expensive than the whilte furniture. But almost 1000 dollars when delivery and taxes and surcharges and the like are all factored in. It didn't make any sence to buy a double dresser so that I could maybe go and get the three drawer dresser pictured above, why not just get matching furniture and be done with it.
Sure its a little girlie, Herschel doesn't mind. Certainly he can deal. The white, just merely meh when I thought about it this morning. And that is why I went and made the purchase before I talked myself out of it.
Made the room that I will need to for the first part of the furniture to arrive and made sure that I could make it work, which I can, it will be tight but so freakin' lovely I am thrilled.
If you make it down to ZGallerie on Larimer Street, stop by, let Chelsea help you, tell her Zoe said hi.
