take your dog to work day

So its tommorrow and surprisingly enough my boss totally said "ok". It doesn't hurt that he isn't in the office at all tommorrow but still... when I asked him if he was for real he said begrudgingly "ok", which I responded, "hey you aren't even going to be here" to which he said "really, isn't it the 27th?" har. So tonite I am putting the pup in the kitchen sink (he is a small dude) then giving him a little beauty treatment so he looks nice and fancy for the office folks.

I think once we are out of the car tommorrow morning all will be fine, but the car completely freaks the little guy out, I think it was too many trips to the humane society before he finally came home with me perhaps.

Just facilitated the possible quick and happy end to what could very well have been a really nasty family situation. Phew. Let me just put it this way... now everyone is happy.

Got sucked into watching tv tonite. I swear its summer, why am I watching reruns of shows I have already seen? What is that? Tommorrow? No such nonsence. Pinkie swear.

Time to finish a book. And by the way, it was just the Orchid Thief, man was that a rough one to get through. I don't know what it was, her writing style of flitting around all over the place, talking about science stuff like the genome history of orchids (seriously honey, not that valueable a piece of information to a reader and I like science...), constantly NOT following any one train of thought... I don't know what it was, but at page 144 I surrendered to the misery and put the book down. Don't take my word for it.. let me know if you want to try and I will mail it to you.
