I don't know who is happier, me or the pup. We had a grande time, but wow is he completely zonked. Can't blame him, everyone potchkied with him all day, me included. Just emailed big boss man a little thankyou for letting me bring the pupster in. Because he totally could have said no and surprised me and said ok.

So the weekend entails...wait a sec... I hear an icecream truck in the parking lot...

That was completely freakie. Just went and got the pup a little cup of ice cream, he has totally been spoiled today.

OK so back to my train of thought. I have a couple of home improvement projects. One of them is to make some shelves out of these planters I found that look like this but are white and plastic and some glass shelves. I have six of the planters and will make three shelves in my "kitchen" area with them. Kinda like those cement brick and board shelves every college boy has in his dorm room, but this has a bit more class... and will hopefully hold all my cook books. I am going to go and finally pick some tile for the bathroom and kitchen since I will be house sitting in a couple of weeks for 10 days and can have someone come in and install it with out fear of me going "hey whatcha doing... whats that... now how exactly does that trowel work" and they can deal with moving the fridge and stove. It will be worth it to just finally pay someone to do it. I mean it has been six years since I moved in and sure I would love to do it myself, but it just isn't going to happen in a timely fashion. Going to go out for a couple of meals and a martini soiree' at a friends house (which I am very much not in the mood for, since it is a farewell party basically since he is moving the next weekend)... and read. Oh and of course I will be watching the season premiere of Sex and the City. Of course.
