So tonite we went to the East Side Kosher Deli for dinner. It was ok, Mom and I made faces at each other almost the whole meal, it was hilarious. Sometimes she really just knows what to do to make me smile in a way that if I got caught would get me in really big trouble.

We had Sufganiot, which were more dough than filling which was a little disappointing, but nice to partake in the tradition. While usually served warm, these sadly were not. I did find a couple of really easy recipes so I might try and make them for our family dinner on Saturday night. I am thinking since I am planning to make latkes and fill the house with the smell of the oil I might as well deep fry some dough.

I have almost all my shopping done actually and was blown away by the gift from The Bro. And more on that tomorrow. For now I am hunkering in, finish my cleaning and hopefully going to bed before midnight.
