linkie stuff

who is this guy and why do I have him bookmarked? I have no business on myspace so why have I bookmarked him? Some of my friend's local bands are bookmarked but even then why?

The convienence of wireless in t'house and comfy patio chairs and a nice evening has led me to finally go through all the stupid stuff (and some treasures) I have bookmarked after all this time.

This is just the tip of the iceburg. There are over 100 links that are dead that I got rid of and here are some that I am making note of....

Some of the dosies that I am getting rid of -

• I want that Product directory - I haven't watched this show in over a year and I don't think the list has changed
• Margaret Cho's Blog - which honestly I haven't read in quite a while, maybe its time to let go
• Trashy Lingerie - I must have been hopped up on Red Bull and Vodka when I bookmarked this
• The Soda Pop Shop - I will never actually order anything from here, so nevermind
• Cup A Cake cupcake container - bought these at Container Store but its still a great idea
• The menu from Shopsins - its a pdf now so open carefully, it might be slow...unbookmarked because the restaurant is now closed
• Sock Dog instructions - originally bookmarked at Touch of Cotton but link is dead... made the toy and inspired by the fundraiser for Hugo the Ferret (r.i.p.)but held close to my heart STILL because of this amazingly touching photo.
• The Red Kitchen - this site hasn't updated in a while, it was nice while it lasted. I am also getting rid of like 20 other cooking sites that I won't use I am sure.
  
• Adtunes - there are better ways to find out what songs are used in commercials, it used to be a great site though
  

The treasures (to me at least) maybe you will find something new and interesting (not my favorite links, but worth keeping) -

• Temporary Tatoo paper - seriously this isn't a bad thing, I will keep this
• a friend's IMDB roll - sumofabitch I missed his birthday...
• Midnight Snack - Alan Cumming's Sundance Show...oh how I forgot about this
• Objects of Desire - a high style design and craft blog that I totally didn't remember bookmarking
• Wooster Collective - culture jamming
  
• Art of the Shrine - fantastic!
  
• Advanced Barista Training - one day I will learn how to make latte art... oh yes I will
• Exquisite Corpse - Andre Codrescu's literary site of extreme joy
• The Morning News - so great
• Tse'Tse' - a really great website and use of flash it is gungous
• Backwash - a great time waster that I totally forgot about
  

Any new links that I should visit? Anything I should add to my treasure list now that I have space?
