What is "How I feel today"?Correct.
Friday I had to be up at the ungawdly hour of 5 a.m. in order to be downtown by 6 a.m. Yowza. I am not the kind of person that likes being awake before the sun rises. So I have pretty much slacked all weekend.
The picture is from Union Station downtown. Its old too. I was actually pretty disappointed with the building because it was supposed to be under some great renovation because it is going to be a transportation "hub" with light rail and commuter trains. But honestly ... I thought it was pretty shleppy. I got some great pictures I think though.
But there were broken light fixtures, broken tiles everywhere and it just looked... sad. This City and the developers should be ashamed of themselves. Just get on with it already. Putting up a couple of signs means nothing when the public can see the shambles of the place. Its sad because so many of my family members came to Denver through that very place and it is dumpy right now.
I write about it because it makes me just a little sad.
So tonite at Target I bought Aveeno's entry into the anti wrinkle market: Positively Ageless (PS... they have a typo in the third sentance, I should email them about that), which really is why I am writing about it at all. So in their defense, I kinda like it. I like the smell, not as over the top as Garnier and I am going to say this... and this so far is what it has going for it, no pilling or shedding and no drying like the other two products I have tried. Its not greasy so putting it on right before bed and right before makeup is going to be easy. The only bad thing is that there is no SPF. It isn't a deal breaker but they should consider that. Why no SPF Aveeno?
So we will see. I am not some wrinkly old hag and when I was carded at the liquor store yesterday the gal was sure I wasn't my age. Not 20 mind you but she was "shocked (I) was born in (19somethinsomethin)" which was a complement.
In other news, Happy Purim (by the time you read this it will be over).
I have some serious tv to catch up on. Hope the weekend treated you well.
There are other Union Station pictures on Flick'r I just chose that one.
