Tamponification by Seventh Generation

I don't usually go and discuss menstruation here on my blog. Simply put. I don't and I won't. But there is an email that came my way this morning that makes me think that I might just step outside my comfort zone of talking about stuff I want to buy and things that I think that are pretty for just one moment.
See... my friend Marisa sent me an email asking me to click on this link. Normally I delete that shit right away, I don't at all agree with cyberbegging or the like, but I know she doesn't play that game so I clicked and Seventh Generation is donating tampons and pads to women's shelters all across the United States since it is a supply (other than other needed supplies like diapers, toothpaste, tooth brushes, clothes, money, baby formula, money) that seems to be overlooked, I mean I didn't even think about it until I got the email this morning. Now, I made that link nice and big and didn't program it so you would stay on this page once opened. Just click on it. You don't have to enter your name, there is probably a cookie on the site but whatevs, donate to your local women's shelter. It takes like one sec.
And when you are done, you might even want to consider writing a check to a shelter in your area. Get started on your 2007 tax dedections. You could even go and buy some tampons and pads, put them in a box and mail them if you don't want to go the check writing route. Just an idea. But click the link. Someone will be really happy you did.
