OK: Promised Ideas for Half Sized Index Cards because I love them so much!
  • List Titles of Books you want to read
  • home measurements fit terrifically
  • paint colors and paint chips can easily be displayed
  • list titles of potential books you might write
  • address list
  • emergency contact phone number : write this in RED and BIG (just in case)
  • list hard to find magazines like Guilt and Pleasure so when you go to borders you remember to ask for it, but they won't have it because their staff are morons and don't understand that you are looking for a literary journal NOT literary criticism... you reference Granta and the guy says "god bless you"... sorry tangent, but true.
  • cut pictures out of magazines and glue to them for portable source boards
  • wine journal or in my case coffee journal should I delineate from my Dazbog
  • grocery list
  • quote list (this is my favorite idea actually, I like to collect them and never actually do anything unless I change the bottom of this page or something)
  • size list for friends for gifts (like shirt sizes and junk)
  • some people like to use index cards for Artist Trading Cards, myself, I think it is an amazing task but I can't get into it, but you certainly could use them for that
  • put a little personal quip on it and leave it randomly on someone's windsheild (this I might actually do tommorrow, just because...
  • appointment list
  • supply list for commonly used items
  • bookmark
  • placecard
  • I'll be right back note on your monitor at work when you go and sneak a smoke

Not really all that clever (I just typed cleaver... I am tired) I know but what can I say I was busy at work actually today and didn't have much time to really think too far outside of the box.

I still haven't dealt with my camera maybe tomorrow when I get home from dinner.

Tonite we went to Costco and I have to say... Martha Stewart kinda freaks me out. She is such a machine. Its amazing how many products and lines and books and magazines and on and on that she has her name stamped on. Its nuts. I bought the Everyday Food book, I kept flipping the pages of this beautiful cookbook and honestly I could see myself cooking almost every recipie that I looked at. The book is lovely as honestly all her publications are, she really honestly does have some of the best art direction in the business. The book was about eleven dollars so it isn't like I spent a fortune, and I actually might use it. I have many cookbooks I have bought that I never even opened... I am talking to you Nigella Lawson and your devilish ways suckering me in. Anyways. I really should start cooking more but it really isn't an option for me right now. Oh well I am doing right by my Grandma at this point.

I am online 15 minutes past my self imposed deadline tonite. I am so far behind on my email, my photos, my reader, my friends lists.... oh ma gawduh, I would be up until 3 a.m. just trying to read it all. I am though taking complete advantage of the sun and amazingly lovely weather Denver has goin' on. Its 58 degrees outside right now... and its almost 11 p.m. Can I hear an AMEN to Spring? Holy crap its wonderful. The crab apple trees are staring to get buds and its going to be really nice around here in a couple of weeks... flowerie and nice. I can not wait.
