holy all that is time consuming... I love Google Reader... I really really do. I want to give it a big wet kiss. When I first started reading blogs, livejournals, bbs' too for that matter, I had to click on a bookmark and wait for the page to load...blah blah blah. It was fine. But now... holy crap...seriously. This new fangled rss feed business kicks so much ass I can't get over it. My latest discovery is that some Etsy artists have blogs attatched to their stores... and wouldn't you know... there are feeds. Its brilliant. Brilliant I tell you. I have a list of about 20 people I want to buy things from and I think once I get the credit card payment posted, Ima goin' shoppin online. I also have some stuff at Fred Flare that is a dire necessity. Totes. Teh neccessary. I am so not cool, I can't get away with typing like that, who am I trying to foolz. Just kidding.
But really. Today at work instead of sitting there counting the holes in the ceiling tiles because the heat kicked on and it was about 85 degrees at my desk and I was tortured and sleepy... hello little Google reader... you make me look busy, when I am so not... at all. Its awesome.
Finally got my Guilt and Pleasure so you dear reader can stop reading my kvetching about it (I have learned my lesson and will not go through this torture next issue...next year, since it takes about 6 months for them to publish, whatever, I am just going to where I know it is...) Went to the Borders at Centennial Promenade (the FIRST retail project I ever ever ever actually worked on... hee), they had it, put it aside for me and everything. No, "I dunno" "Our cafe' people stock that area so you will have to call them" "what is it called again" "its a periodica-what"... Jason at that store rules. Thank you Jason....
I walked around on the store being the person that honestly I hate being...talking on my cell phone, but it was a necessary evil since I haven't talked to Valentine in a month. She is the devil, but I got her something fun as she talked me into a dvd. And yes we broke the sanctity of the book store, but seriously, they were cranking Blinded by Light by Manfred Mann so I don't feel too badly. No bookstore should EVER play that song loud. I don't care if it was written by Springsteen or not, don't play it.
If you want to see some of the crap I find interesting in the reader that I want to share...take a gander at my sidebar, there is some things in there. Mostly I "star" it to go through later, I will share more I am sure. There is greatness out there on the web and my Google Reader brings it right to me.
