I love that this might just be true and seriously on Monday am going to send off for it. I like the idea very much of sharing something so old with the world. And even if it isn't true, its a great tale to tell when someone asks, what is that crap in the jar in your fridge? I keep forgetting to save some of my dough to make a starter when I make my bread. Maybe I will remember the next time I do it. Then maybe I can share with the world a little bit too.
I have over 300 articles unread in my Google reader which is frustrating because I want to absorb the minute details but have to glance over everything and not really read and look.
I did though tonite move the Jonathan Adler jars that I have to a more prominent place in my kitchen, I have to get my sideboard cleaned off and then will order from HW Home in Cherry Creek the next set. I called the store in Chicago to find out about shipping rates (Katie there is totally great, she was friendly, not put out at all that I called for something so benign and was willing to call the store on Melrose Avenue in LA to see what they had in stock, the staff did you proud my dear Jonathan, just so you know) and realized that I don't save anything by shipping from out of state, in fact the tax here is about 3 bucks less. So I will go over tomorrow. Besides I need some vanilla candles and hopefully they have the kind that I like in stock. I moved some things around on the bookshelves tonite too. They look slightly less cluttered, but not at all what I am really thinking, so I will continue on that trek tomorrow when I come back from Cherry Creek.
I am going to treat myself to lunch out on Sunday too. I have been thrilled that the Lime family opened a new place closer to my house (its on 6th and Clarkson which is half the distance to downtown) and open before the sun goes down with parking accessibility. I really like their enchiladas (or I remember liking them alot) and was thinking about the new place the other day. Its too far to go during the week, but tomorrow might just fit the bill.
Tomorrow morning is all about the amazing beef chorizo (I know pork would have been better... I can eat it out, but I can't bring myself to cook it in my house whats a good ole fashioned psuedo wannabe ballabusta to do?) I bought and making breakfast tacos (not as good as from Snooze. I only have this sheep's milk white cheddar from England which might not be sharp enough to even remotely compliment the spicy of the chorizo, but I have an avocado going too ripe I don't want to waste (they will be like gold in a bit due to the freezes in California)and one avocado guacamole is hardly worth it.
