Fox Pulls the OJ Simpson Interview and Book
I can honestly say that I didn't think I would ever see the day when this would actually happen. Where common sense would rule the day and win out in anyway shape or form regarding this case.
I remember standing at the bank of tv's at Target watching the slow pursuit, I remember a coworker whose office was right behind my desk totally flipping out when the verdict was read (we all had it on our radios), I remember the Heisman Trophy auction where a peice of it was smelted to everyone that bought a peice and the profits (*edited to correct my really bad spelling, I mean really... prophets? I seriously should proofreed these things*) donated to a domestic abuse shelter. I remember the Hertz commercials. I remember so much of this guys illustrious career. I mean the guy was in Naked Gun for goodness sake (and Roots as well). Can't we call his 15 minutes of fame up already? If he did it or not (one jury said yes, another no, so really who is to say) I don't want to hear about it and I am glad that Mr. Murdoch came to his senses and agrees.
Its a nice peice of media in action. And sadly probably a first and last occurance.
