I spent about 4 years trying to recover my CBGB tshirt that an ex stole from me. It was nightmareish because I didn't want just any shirt, I wanted mine and that eve-il jerk stole it from me. Yes, I will admit this, I literally went to his house, said oh... I miss you... ooo look my shirt... put it on, waited until he passed out and left. But damnit I have my shirt. And Damnit, they may loose thier lease/building. Save the venue. Buy chocolate.
