Breakfast was weird. What kind of place makes Belguin Waffles without some kind of fruit option and whipped cream. Weird. I asked for whipped cream and was looked at like I had three heads. So I ate my naked waffle which was a tad undercooked and was happy. Five bucks for a waffle though is a tad pricey. I think that is why I am not too fond of Le Peep. But the company was good and that is what is the most important.
But in the world of really nice news.....
I would like to thank the dear Pop Culture Junk Mail (who when I remember to read always always has very good and valuable information for my little eyes. What prey tell has falled upon me? Pudding Pops !!!!!
Seriously. This is some really freakin' brilliant news. I am reading Candy Freak right now and watching the Wedding Cake bonanza on Food Tv and I was thinking...
"Sugar. Short of pouring some down my throat what options do I have? I need sweet. I need sweet bad. Not that crappy rolled fondant cake junk I keep seeing ... helloooo no flavor... no I need cake, or a candy bar, or poprocks. Ok I could go over to Kings and get a single size cake, or some candy but lordie above I need something sweet". And now... my beloved Pudding Pops are back. I settled for the Frappacino bars years ago, but they weren't the same. I even tried to make my own with sticks and a popsicle mold, not quite.
So off to safeway I go (I mean seriously some dude got shot in the parking lot there the other day). I strongly dislike the store by my house but like any addict who realizes that her pusher is back on the corner I will trudge over there. I have no choice. I must go down the slippery slope. Hot coffee, a really fun reading book and Pudding Pops? Sounds like heaven to me.
