I feel like kicking some ass and taking some names
Ok really I just added like 20 books to my amazon wish list. It is really mearly a personal wish list. Nothing that I actually would expect nor want anyone to go out and buy for me, but it is such an amazing tool. I feel badly because I don't give Jeff Bezos any of my money of late. I just check everything out from the library. I should spend a little money on Amazon. I would buy some stock but its still way out of my league. I am a fool for not buying in right at the very beginning like I was going to. I hesitated.
A not real life friend is thinking about abandoning his blog. It makes me really sad. He is an amazing photographer and really funny. He was plagerized. I am sure it happens alot, but it is really sad that a forum of 12 year olds don't understand the concept of claiming your sources. It was something that was beaten into my brain when I was their age. The internet has spoiled all these little punks who think that it is ok to just take what someone else has written and claim it as their own. I was the queen of footnotes. Hell it isn't even 12 year olds...its writers of our modern media too... writing stories about people that don't exist, writing journalistic peices purely on someone else's back. Its gross. Its a shanda. Its completely disgraceful. I don't think this is what Al Gore was thinking about when he invented the internet... (ok I know I know he didn't invent the internet, I am only kidding).
My point is, what makes it ok for a young kid to take the writing of a published author and journalist posting in a personal blog? What makes it ok to literally force this great guy off the internet blogsphere? There isn't anything right about it at all. It completely pisses me off actually. And what is the most pathetic is that it is going to happen. My not in real life friend is going to abandon his personal tool because some little schmuck can't claim his source.
It is so simple.
