I actually feel better
not to get too pathelogical but... my nasal fluids are appearing in a far less fluid manner and I am so damn happy I could squeel. This cold lasted almost a week and a half.
To celebrate my Mom brought me over cake from her office party on Friday.
Our dogs played together and she made a comment that H looked a little raggedy and "needs a hair cut...um...bad". I know I know. So tonite during Mr. Show we did the bathing and hair cutting ritual, which involved baby shampoo, the kitchen sink, the blowdryer and the clippers. Now that the ordeal is over I can officially say, yes, he looks 100 percent less raggedy.
Had to go back to Target today since the cashier forgot several items yesterday in my bags. Two clear plastic "swell" cups, "swell" cocktail picks and dog treats. The manager was completely condescending and I really think that until he went and looked at the transaction video thought I was lying. Believe me the cocktail picks (while adorable and plastic with birdies) aren't that great that I have to lie about not getting them. I can afford another $2.99 for 12 more if I need them. He made me wait until they say that I wasn't lying and had the security gaurd go and try and find the items for me, I finally got so fed up that I politely said, I will just take my money please. It made me a little crazy and I tried to maintain my level of disgust. I am not going to get twiterpated over 10 dollars, but I was soooo close.
So lesson for today is check your bags and make sure that you have everything before you leave a store. Who cares if the person behind you is annoyed. You will have all your items and not have to spend 45 minutes of quality time with you local Target Customer Service person.
Tommorrow is a work day for me, but it may actually be fun. I have a ton of things to keep me busy and motivated and pleased as punch.
I may even get to the gym considering I haven't been in a month and feel terrific.
