magazine pile almost gone through!

That was the quest for the evening. My Mom gives me all her old magazines, some good some not so much, but there may just be a pretty picture or something so its worth going through I suppose. I have almost two years of New Yorkers to go through but that will be my coffee and relaxation on the patio this weekend quest.

I did find an article in Southern Living of all places about redoing a table with tiles and mosaic that wasn't cheesie nor complicated and the picture that they have is actually really pretty. So I pulled that out, lets just see how long it takes to get to that little project! Keep in mind it took me nearly five years to paint my bathroom!

No news on the upstairs neighbor sitch. It will definately be very interesting to see how that plays out. I don't think the lady can actually qualify for her loan, she sounded nervous. Who knows.

In other kinda sad news... my Tocca Havana candle burned out down to the end tonite. Sure my house smells fanfrikkintastic but I am sad because I have to make a run to Glo tommorrow and be tempted by all the other wonderful treats they have in their lovely little salon/retail store. Its soooo tempting in there and the ladies are so incredibly nice. It may be a twenty eight dollar candle but this one lasted me almost two years, you don't have to burn it very long to get your pad full of smelly goodness. Sometimes I would just take the silver-ie cover off and put it in a drawer and it would infiltrate all my delicates.

My Mom just sent me an email (actually its been sitting in a cue because our office email server -offsite-has been down for two days) that says "Life is like a roll of toliet paper, the closer it gets to the end the faster it goes" and "money can't buy you class".

Huh.

And at the bottom she included this little gem of wisdom.... "yes the nail polish is amazing and cheap". So in case you were wondering if the ColorStay Nail polish lives up to its expectations... both my and my Mom say yes!
