its spa night at the little bungalo of me

Facial, fake pedicure (meaning I will not, refuse to do that scrapie of the foot thingie), partial mani (meaning no soaking in olive oil and rubbin' down the cuticle dealie), facial, exfoiliation, deep conditioning o' the hair, putting a towel in the dryer for 30 minutes while showering and facialling and getting out and wrapping said self all lotioned up in a gargunga HOT towel... you know... spa night. The only thing that was missing was etherial music on the cd player. Can't have that so watched an episode of CSI I hadn't seen (what is the likely hood of that?) and turned off the phone.

The decided that the pup needed the same luxurious treatment (minus facial), so bathtime it was. Laid the towel in the tub (so he wouldn't slip and slide all over the place --- the best trick EVER), gave him a little bath and cut his nails and gave him a little spray of some stuff that is supposed to make his skin feel good (it makes him smell like baby powder, so no wet dog smell permiating the house) and towelled him up and dried him off (a little) and then let him shake it all about.

The house smells like baby powder now which is a little wierd.

I have seen these candles at Linen and Things and also Bed Bath and Beyond... the price is comparable to Yankee Candle, but I have coupons out the wazzoo and they have the powder fresh smell I am seemingly entranced by right now...The one thing that would interest me in these candles is that the label is super easily peelable off and the "jar" is actually pretty (I am not a mason jar kinda gal) so I could actually re-use it.

This weekend heading to the BallPark Market and go to this market (the new and hopefully fancy Larimer Street Market and try and find some real jems.
