isn't summer tv the best?
While I am stuck right now in rerun purgetory of Sex and the City (two episodes on one of the HBO feeds tonite) it makes me realize that while I could never assertain what it would be like to be any of those four women, I sure do love most of the clothes...the shoes... the hair... the make up... and yes the semi wacky situations. I am thrilled beyond well summer re-run central that June 22nd brings me out of seeing the same thing over and over again. And news is that not only will Big be back (why can't any Jewish guys I date even remotely look like him, Chris Noth is a hottie), as will Aidan (we all know how I feel about John Corbett... bring on the Luckey hair), but so will Shrug for at least a bit. And always a big Hazah for Willie Garson. Phew... I swear it will be the only tv I actively watch this summer. Its cliche' I know to rapt poetic about Sex and the City now isn't it. I promise I won't again, but it is awfully nice to have something televised to look forward to. New episodes of the Osbournes? Puhshah. The Real World Paris? Au Revoir.
So instead of being the slave to the blue glow that I usually am...I plan to get out, read a little, paint a little, craft a lot, and hopefully get out of the duldrums that I have been doing the best I can to stave off. There was a time when I would come home from work and go right back out again. Sure I have a dog now and can't just abondon him (I mean that is cruel) but who says I can't put the pup in a lovely little fancy purse-contraption thingie and sit at Starblecks and have a latte and a magazine?
And in other news...Two weeks from now I am getting me a cable modem set up. Off this dreaded dsl which after 8:30 gets miserably slow because I am sure neighbors are up looking at nekkid ladies and downloading music... hey I have important things to post here... stop hogging all the bandwith people. So before the 28th I need to get me to Circuit City to buy my modem. I am very excited. I may actually get that website done. Har. At least I can post progress pictures on the latest pup haircut (each time I get better I swear!), projects, ideas, snapshots (I nearly typed snapsnots- index that google). Viva la Comcast.
