I am sitting here on the couch, working. I should have done this work yesterday but I was occupied with the fun of shopping. I have Rattle and Hum on from VH-1 Classic this morning. I didn't remember asking Steevoh to record it, but I have to say I am glad. I had the funnest time at both shows that are featured in this movie. The first night I went with Sam and Amy and the second night I actually got asked to go with someone pulling cable or something (all I know he was on the crew and got me in) and got to stand literally at the sound board until I started moving around the floor because I could dancing my ass off. The sound engineer gave me tape of the show too, I don't have a clue where that is, but I am sure I still have it, I mean treasure seriously.....
What makes me sad is that McNichols arena which is where the shows were shot is gone. What a peice of my history too.
I had just come back from Israel and had this tshirt in Hebrew that I wore both nights and someone came up to me in the middle after I came out of the bathroom and offered me 100 bucks for it, the second night. All I had was this leather jacket that came down to my knees to cover me up and I gave it a second thought and nearly said no... but honestly I totally sold that tshirt, hey 100 bucks. I think if I look really hard you can see me in my bra... dancing like a fool. But really you can't. You can't see anyone.
These were such huge shows, they were HUGE at the time. This is a great thing to have on in the background while working. It brings back a hundred memories. Good times.
