I was going to scan some pictures tonite but unfortunately I got sidetracked, sorry Valentine. I promise before this upcoming weekend is out I will do it. What sidetracked me? The fact that tonite it was truly cool enough that I could bake again, cook lunches for the upcoming workdays, clean my kitchen and enjoy being home all evening.

Tomorrow night I have the night off from dinner duty again. I don't want to sound ungrateful for being able to spend time with my family, but I really completely enjoyed being at home tonite. I loved being in my kitchen.

I made pesto from scratch. I panned up pine nuts and toasted them, chopped garlic, cut the basil from my plant and just really had a nice time. It was exactly what I needed.
