I have decided that on Mondays I will clue you into my little bloggie habit. I am lucky enough at work to have a screen cover that pretty much you have to be right in front of it to see what is on my monitor, I am able to pretty much on my down time read feeds. Its awesome. It keeps me at my desk so I am available and I look busy. Isn't technology swell?
So in the past week I have added the following and why:
- Zulkey - the Livejournal feed - I added this mostly because I can't get a feed from her main site and this reminds me to go and check it out.
- Three Livejournal feeds from my friends V and M and D. I don't get "friends - only" posts but that is ok I suppose. It reminds me to go and log on and check out my friends list now and again. Hard to believe that I don't post there at all anymore. Such a distant thing.
- Hotel Beds - The Hotel Bed Blog - I think this is a travelocity site. I like knowing that there is good design in small little hotels around the world, some of the pictures people have shared are absolutely amazing. I have always had a fondness for hotel room design which is completely odd since I don't so much like to actually travel. There is a science to it. It fascinates me. The feed doesn't always work, but at least I know it is there.
- Grey's Anatomy's Writer's Blog - now that I am caught up on the episodes I can go back and read the blog, sometimes its interesting to read from a writer's point of view what went into the show, this never happened when I was in the business, everything was held very close to the chest and no one talked about their motivations, I suppose that is one more reason to like Shonda Rhimes and her way of doing business... gayhab and all.
- Emily Smith - see, this is the thing. I started to read her blog waaaaay back in the day, I found it via a Yahoo Search I did on something and every now and again I remember her. I don't know her at all and if I saw her on the street probably the only thing I would be able to say would be... holy crap, I remember your pictures with your pen camera. She looks good. Also I think she is really bright.
- A Yoga Coffee Outlook - added this because she somehow is involved with This Week In Denver, they link to her at the bottom of their website and it seems to be a very interesting read. We will see.
- Super Special Questions - the blog - Sorry M Doughty, but I think I would rather listen to you speak that read what you have to say. Could it be? Sad but true.
- Crafty Chica - Don't get me wrong, I love Kathy's projects, they are amazing. But I just can't get into the blog, and all the advertising on the bottom of the feed entries was really distracting to me. I will go and check out the site when I have time to peruse and print projects out, but no bloggie time for me.
- TMZ.com - I loves me the celeb gossip, especially in the crazy that was Anna Nicole's funeral and all that...but when my reader refreshes it also reupps about 50 old entries and boggs my reader down. So... I just go to the site on my lunch and catch up on the day. For a corporate site, they should be better and that is what bugged the bejebus out of me.
- Perez Hilton - this came as a feed with another one, I hate it and won't even link to it. You will know how to get there if you care to. The b.s. crap he puts on his pictues? What is that? It is not charming, nor funny... bye bye I will not contribute to his "numbers and click throughs" hardly enjoyable. TMZ is quicker with the information anyways, this guys stuff was all rehash anyway. Besides there are plenty of other celebrity blogs that are less disgusting.
- WXPN Music Blog - I added it because I thought it would talk about music played on the station (which is great by the way) but it is a feed for links to downloads which I can't do here at work so its bookmarked at home instead should anything appeal.
I pretty much am finding myself addicted beyond all belief to design and furnishing blogs. I think this means that I am looking for a big change in my decor or I am wishing for a bigger house where I wasn't so locked into what I have. But I am loving seeing what is out there. Also totally getting into crafty blogs because I am looking for something to inspire me this spring and summer - project wise. I want to be less fickle. So I am trying to find that inspiration which doesn't scream, I am totally doing this because I love what so and so did on their blog. Find something that I would enjoy and be able to make my own.

I promise to do my very best to keep you entertained. It is tough to write a personal blog day in and day out. Cause let's face it... sometimes life is not that interesting. But I keep trying.
Actually I'm the fashion editor for ThisWeekInDenver.com. I hope you like the new format. We love feedback.

K- I love the new email format, I have to tell you, its terrific, nothing gets cut off at the bottom of gmail, and its better to click through to the site to get events! Its a great site and I have to be honest, I go to nothing in town, of late, but its great to know I could find something any night should the inspiration hit!
sigh...the feed thing kills me. i think I need to re-launch on a new platform or something. what a PITA. thanks for checking me out though!
