Spring has sprung around here. This morning when I went for my walk with Herschel I brought my camera along and actually didn't end up with any squirrel's staring me down, but did get to see some flowers on trees.

One lady wanted to talk Herschel for a walk while I took pictures. What? Um like no. I tried to take her picture saying that is so nice while I aimed the camera at her but she got really sketchie. Yeah like I am going to let anyone that I don't know take Herschel for a walk. I won't even let the little kids that live in the next building take him without me being within eyeshot, and that was only once.

I have no clue what kind of bush or bud or flower or what ever this is, but it is at the edge of this brook in the next complex over where we were this morning. They are pretty cool looking and I am bummed that they are out of focus, so tommorrow I will have to maybe get out of bed a little earlier than normal (hee, who am I kidding?) and try again. The bees love these things though I am shocked there aren't at least four in this picture, they were everywhere.

I skipped out of going to dinner tonite. Dad took B to the hospital to visit his brother who was admitted this afternoon, I am relieved I have to say. Glad I didn't have to take him to the hospital and that I don't have to go to dinner. I get to relax and chill out and not have to push myself. Its incredibly selfish and it sucks that I have to be sick to get the reprieve but I am glad I have this one more night.

I wanted to do some shopping today, Fred Flare's 25% off sale ends today (I think) but really I can't justify right now. Tchotchke's are fine and all, but really I have to not be in collector girl mode. I cleaned out my linen closet yesterday afternoon and realized I need to not collect stuff because its uber unhealthy. So it will stay on my Wist and maybe when I change my mind I will click and see if the stuff is still available. And not only do I need to put aside the moolah for the light fixture for the dining room, I really have decided I need a new camera. I really want to step it up a notch and go to the next level. So that is a couple like five hundred dollars and fun doodads from Fred Flare kinda should wait I think. Sale or not.
