damn

so I was going to post this blathering nonsence about daylight savings time and whatnot and then on the radio just now I hear that Richard Jeni apparantantly might have killed himself . What a drag. I don't know the guy, met him a couple of times, when I was in LA out and about (my favorite was sitting at Jerry's an my friend M dared me to go and say hello, and I did and was rewarded by a sincere menschness that I seriously didn't expect. I thought he seemed like a genuinely nice guy, but sometimes comedy is really really ugly and those people that bring us great laughs and humour are the saddest after all. I feel badly for him that he got to that point. Stupid 80s hit radio station. Bustin' up my day with really bad news.
