Gawker? I thank you.

Plee hee... honestly, I cleaned a little bit tonite(folded a little laundry and that's it) but actually honestly spent more than a fair share online reading Gawker and their little hatefest on Eric Schaeffer. I actually think it is pretty damn funny. Why? Because I don't know these people. I don't know what this guy did to Gawker to piss them off but I love reading it. Its like Gawker used to be like four years ago when it was a snark fest on the NY celebrity culture. Thank you Gawker for going back to your roots if only for like what... two days? Why quit now? I don't get it. And sure, I went and added my click on his counter and read his blog, sure the guy appears to be a pig. Whatever. I went "out" (not really just back to his house) with a guy who played the same game... I like you, we should date, I could see being with you... now what about something more baby.... uh... dude, you do not know me well enough and nor will you ever. Huh he was 45 too. Wierd. I doubt that guy was or is articulate enough to put his thoughts into writing like Mr. Schaeffer has.(if that is good or bad I am not to decide, I saw If Lucy Fell and only liked the big honkin' calendar on the wall, the rest of the movie was lame.... too much neurotic talking talking talking... Mr. Schaeffer Woody Allen did it much better, still does). These two schlubs (isn't that their game afterall?) are always going to be single, chasing the skirts, telling gals they are miraculous creatures, but just want some nookie becuase they don't know better. Good luck with that. And honestly every single one of those women that posted their dating stories probably went out with the guy to go out with someone with an IMDB entry, then they realize he is a nut ball eccentric guy who writes a good stretch of dialouge (but really only for himself... Ben Stiller had like one word or something in that movie... and lets be honest thats all the work I know about the guy, I am not interested in what else he has done) and isn't going to get them past the velvet rope they rebel and post bitchy crap to Gawker. I LOVE IT. It makes me miss L.A. We would sit in Canters and dish. OK name drop and dish. Loud. But that was before there was an internet, just Jewish deli's on Fairfax.

It was a complete time suckage for the evening and when its -10 outside (with a windchill) its just really nice to get snuggled into jammie pants, a CSI sweatshirt, a hot cup of lavendar earl grey and read some good ole fashioned crazy.
