Yay...Beck.

I don't know if it is just me or was Saturday Night Live actually funny this week? Ok I will admit it... it is the marionette Beck (This is a beautiful site design by the way). Seriously. Brill..yant. Maybe it was that I was in a good mood this evening that the show seemed funny to me. I think it was the percussion table dance. I have to go and actually purchase that CD... anyone that brilliant deserves my cold hard cash.

Could it have been Borat? (my Mom just discovered the joy of Sacha Baron Cohen)... hey any one remember the Mahir...I kiss you guy? Similarities? Huh... think about it. Could be a source material? (edited to add: Ok Captain Obvious signing on... apparantly Mahir is not to happy with Borat and is of the sue and the money now not just the kiss. (thank you Boing Boing you really are wonderful.)

I am watching Six Feet Under on Bravo tonite and its so damn disturbing. I don't know why in alot of ways but holy wow. They are still in the first season and I forgot how twisted the show is. A gal at the office wanted me to tell her all about the show since she is just watching it. I didn't even know where to start so I told her to just watch the dvds a friend of the family brought over and enjoy it.

Trying to explain Grey's Anatomy to my friend G was also strangely problematic. Is it a drama? Is it a comedy? Nope. American Soap Opera through and through. And I can only go that far. As far as insite into the show...Grey Matter, a blog by the writers.

Ah the heat just kicked on, I can go to bed now.

Hey - that was a good (albeit meandering) post! ;)

I thought you might be interested in seeing some "investigative reporting" over at the electronic news network, which dug around to find out if Borat really IS based on that "I Kiss You" guy's website or not.

http://celebs.electronicnewsnetwork.com/sacha-cohen/

Proof that might get used in a potential lawsuit. lol

hey there Richard... thanks for the information, I don't doubt it for one minute, I mean I remember back in the day... Mahir was EVERYWHERE... now it is Borat.

What would really be great actually is if Sacha Baron Cohen was behind both.

Now that would prove he is a mad genius.
