Seriously we were driving around on a golf cart like mad crazy people trying to find the elusive creature (ok only semi-elusive because it was the middle of the day and 100 degrees out, why would a Javelina want to be moseying about in the middle of that?). I am though glad that I got to NOT partake in the big hairy spider in my room, but thankfully it showed up a couple of doors down. You would have heard the screams from there here...believe me. They are notoriously mean but on this resort, while wild aniamals probably a little more tame. I didn't think that it existed, like a jackalope or something, but they do, and I got my pictures thankfully to the two bellman driving me up and down this path like a crazy woman. Its not a stretch.
The trip was great, got to spend some time with my brother which was great. Got to go to my next to favorite store (and finally got my box today ... The Bro wanted to know why I was buying so many preserves... well one broke allllll over everything, and no wonder hazmat picked the box up off the truck it looked like a crime scene on the outside of the box, totally like conjealed blood with brain matter... sorry to be gross, but it did and its funny to me...now, so I am glad I bought two of the blackberry preserves, I would have been sad if I didn't have any to spread on toast in the morning).
I am still a little exhausted from no sleep for two straight days. But I am catching up and I am thrilled it is about the weekend so I can chill, with my toast and preserves and just relax.
I am glad I had to go. I am glad that I will get to go back, maybe not to the same resort but maybe here just to be close to some amaaaaaaazing shopping. Ok, so we only went to one store, Artafax, but I loved it so much, I could have bought about 20 things, I am glad we needed to get to dinner because I would have done some major damage to my credit card budget.
But I am home and glad, now I just have to get caught up on some shluffie action and I will be terrific.
Hope your Shana Tova was lovely.
