Ok dude, I will leave you and your concealed weapon alone...gosh

Hard to believe that today is Monday. Did the weekend just fly by so quickly all I can remember is moving a piano and cleaning cupboards? Wowza. But its all good. I just wish that I had more time to start reading like I want to. Even tonite I am tested with time issues.

The Aristricrats is on HBO Comedy right now and I am in here blogging about it. Thank goodness for DVR (seriously that little Steevoh has paid for himself over and over and over again just this month... so worth the 5 bucks a month) because I can rewind that little show and watch it at my leisure. I love that they open with Phylis Diller. That is all I can say.

I want to start a new book. Finally finished Bel Canto which just kind of was over when the story ended. Not much actually to it. It just kind of fizzled out for me. Such really great promise when I first dived into it. Perhaps I missed the point.

I wanted to get through a pile of magazines, I mean the new Vanity Fair and McSweeney's just landed and I have four months of New Yorkers to catch up on (remind me why I resubscribed to that magazine? Sure it was in expensive for a weekly but the time that it takes to get through each one because its so damn good sometimes takes serious dedication and resources) that I just can't seem to get ahead. A girl has to get her beauty sleep sometime.

Speaking of, last night... so awake I couldn't take it. I didn't know what I was going to do, around 3 a.m. I finally just resided myself to being awake, turned on the fans (which are really noisy) and just laid there for a couple hours. It was miserable. I should have tried to read then.

I have this huge list of things that I want to do this week. I don't want to put them to blog because I will feel tremendously crappy if I don't. One of them is that I do have to bake a cake for a work function on Friday that I don't know if I am even going to be able to attend because I am so busy (which is really so very great), but I will be a good sport, so the one thing that I have to do for sure is bake sometime this week. It was another thing that I planned on trying to do tonite (and realistically I still could considering the movie is about an hour and a half) and still haven't gotten to. Bake, vacume and watch a documentary about the purported filthiest joke ever told. That will keep me busy until midnight. Excellent. Posted by Picasa
