Pesach Noodles

Does anyone really like them? I was thinking about this last night when we were at the King Soopers and I was lovingly looking at the box of noodles, thinking... hmmmmm should I buy a box or not. ( For the record I decided, not). Last year the noodles came in cello packages and apparently the manufacturer has decided to spiff up the idea of noodles and put them in a box like the fancy pastas you could buy a couple of aisles over. I think maybe this year, should I want noodles, I may actually try and make dough in my quisinart and cut them myself. Although it is easier to buy them in the box and just boil them for like the 20 seconds until they get pasty. But does anyone actually like them?

It was interesting.

I haven't bought my necessities at all because I really don't know what I am going to cook, whether I am going to have time to come home for lunches or have to eat at work, and dinners are a whole different conundrum.

Tonite we are going to the deli for dinner so I am thinking honestly that I will stock up on supplies there, I just hope that they have some items still that are good. Crackers and maybe some different cookies. I really don't know what I am going to want to have in the house for food. I normally fly by the seat of my pants so to speak and don't plan too far ahead for meals, so this is really difficult. I know that Mom will send me home with brisket from the seder (which is so yummy I am salivating about it now just thinking about it) and I will have that to nosh on, but what else? I haven't a clue.

Its kind of stressing me out.

I know that I can take fried matzah (what others call matzah brie and honestly I didn't know that is what matzah brie was until I met D for lunch at Zaidy's and he ordered it and the light bulb turned on!) for breakfast a couple of days as it really is yummy and one of my favorites. But after that... kinda at a loss.

My friends went back to Israel yesterday. It was a quick couple of days, and I honestly wish that they could have been here longer. It was so nice to be able to spend time with them. Sad to see them go. When we were at the restaurant saying our goodbyes, I kinda lost it a little bit. I am not good at saying goodbye. I think my friends husband thought I was a dork. Well I wear that hat with pride my friend... I wear it with pride.
