I have so much that I have to do today and I hardly want to actually do any of it.
I did though go and pick up the paper at the Bro's house like he requested and took the car to get a bath. I suppose I can knock those two items off the to do list.
I was reading last night and something struck me as really amusing. Clinton published his memoirs and it was huge. Big big book. Published in paperback, still a big big book, about 600 pages. In the forward it says... that he hopes (and I am totally paraphrasing here) that the smaller size and affordibility will allow people who didn't buy the hardback the chance to buy this book... ok. Nice sentiment. But then I realized, the paperback volume is really only part one. THERE ARE TWO VOLUMES. (the links will take you to the "early years" and the "presidential years".) So really after taxes and gas and time spent in line at the bookstore, the paperback version complete is only 7 bucks less than than the hardbound. Silly. I will say though 25 or so pages into the book it is very talkie in its prose which is strangely freakie to me. I can't imagine hearing him reading it from a books on cd or something. Too weird. He is a President for goodness sake. And I wish he still was. I so would be a FOB.
PS. Its "Punk Month" on IFC . Tonite they are debuting Don Letts doc "Punk Attitude". Don Letts people! Fantastic. And just so you don't have to scroll through your information bar on the bottom of your cable... here is the monthly schedule. Don't you ever say I dont' fucking care. Seriously there are some great movies on this month. Watch something good.
