Ah Springtime in the Rockies. As of right now there is approximately 10 inches of snow in front of the house. I have kept up with the shoveling most of the day, making a path for Herschel when he has to go out, kept the sidewalks free of snow for most of the afternoon (I hear my neighbor John out there now....he is THE BEST) and the car roof pretty much snowfree (I have a convertible soft top and since the snow is really wet and heavy I don't want any damage to the top). I am loving the weather actually.
It has forced me to mellow out, calm the heck down and just relax all day. I had this laundry list of things that I wanted to do and this snow storm (which was a surprise and very predicted) forced me to just mellow out and chill (no pun intended).
I hope that the wedding my Bro flew back into town for is ok, it was supposed to be outside, but obviously that isn't happening. I feel terribly for the bride and groom, but years from now they will have a great story to tell, even if it sucks for them today.
Mazel tov to the bride and groom anyways!
