Happy Sukkot...

Out of all the holidays, I really think that I like Sukkot the most. Things just smell good. Better even. Apples smell good. Etrogs and Lulavs smell good. Cloves in Oranges, just smell good.

My grandparents invited me to dinner last night with their neighbors across the street from them, but I decided that I would eat dinner outside under my (fake sukkaH... I have a balcony above me where through the slats you can "see stars"... I have no fronds of palm leaves though so it really isn't a true sukkah).

It was really rainy last night but it was actually really nice. I had no lulav, but I had a lemon, which isn't an etrog I know, but it sufficed.

One of my favorite things when I was growing up was around Sukkot my Mom would find these gargantuan red delishious apples and would send them to school with me and my brother in our lunches. I would love to have one of those right now. The smaller size I suppose will have to do.
