So I am a complete coffee snob. I know the difference between a nice arabica blend and craptastic one. I bring my own coffee into the office everyday because the brown water that they provide is not even worth dealing with. I grind and brew within minutes. I won't even think about any other option. I have a carafe that elimanates air hitting my coffee until I am ready at the exact moment to drink it through out the day.
I never thought that I would ever say this but...this instant ginseng coffee isn't horrible. It isn't great and is really sweet but it actually isn't bad. For instant.
I have been looking and trying to find Know J.O.E. somewhere at a market but haven't so when I was in Pacific Mercantile the other day looking for fun things to put into a care package for my friend Valentine, I saw a bag of "sachets" of the above coffee (similar brand) and thought... heck for less than four dollars if it is gross, I am not out that much. And it isn't terrible. And instant which I usually can not stand. But I think it is juiced up with so much sugar and instant creamer that it takes that instant taste away.
In my travels to find the J.O.E. site I came across
this one... they have chile-chocolate flavored coffee. I don't usually even go the sweet and light (cream and sugar) route, so to be intreged by their flavor combinations really must mean something.
Should I not find anything at this wholesale show today and I decide against the 60Gb I-River that I want than I may just have to order me a 14oz (or whatever bag) just to see if it is surprisingly interesting like the instant ginseng coffee packets.
