seriously... this is my friday night this week
I am currently starting to read and take copious notes on Home Comforts. I think that there are some very very good ideas in this book and it seems to be quite the tome. But... and I hope that I don't insult anyone who lives this book and loves this book... but its a little shall I say... um chatty? It kinda is. But that makes for nice relaxing reading and I have to admit this its better than the latest Poppy Z. Brite book...Liquor, which 30 pages into it I am bored out of my mind. It will get better I hope, but I thought I would give her another chance, even though I have never particularly liked her style.

Even though I am reading this book on home making and cleaning and creature comforts of cleaning and the like... I am very very seriously considering hiring the ladies that come in and take care of my brother's house to come over to mine once a month. I walked in here last night and it was just...cleaner... neater.... sparklier. But so completely subtle. There was no heavy cleaner smell, like Merry Maids leaves. No heavy tone of "the cleaning ladies have been here". It was just so amazing. It would really be worth the money and these ladies are so nice. I came over one day when they were here. I came to drop off a carrot cake that I had made and scared the crap out of the Mom. She then gave me a hug.

I need to change some setting and then I am back to my books. Two more waiting for me at the library tommorrow... so I should at least finish one of them. Paid a little fine for my brother while he is gone, the libarian/ counter chica told me that I wouldn't get a reciept because it has his account number on it, I said that is fine, its all about trust anyways right? I walk out of here with thousands of dollars of books a year and am trusted to return them I can trust her to apply a buck and a half to my brother's account to clear his fines. I gave her a five and she said wait for the change and I said... thousands of dollars, I can spare the three. She couldn't believe it.

Its all about karma my little bubbies. Karma.
