I had a little bit of a week
I got into an argument with someone over The Psion of the Chst (don't need any bots bringing anyone here). Stupid ass of a movie. It is so stupid. I haven't seen the entire movie. I don't plan on seeing the entire movie. I don't care about the entire movie. But this person (of a completely different generation) told me that it was my duty as a good Jewish person to convince others to not go and see it. That the movie was completely anti semetic and it was my duty to convice others. And all I can say is that honestly I can't imagine anyone that I know or care about would even WANT to see the fukacktah drek.
I know that the movie is inflammatory. I know that the movie is violent. I know that it is not going to last. The movie is going to close soon. No one wants to see 45 minutes of gore and have to read the dialouge. I did. I watched the last 45 minutes and it was absolutely the worst thing I have ever seen. This article is actually pretty decent... and at the bottom talks about this church on the corner of Colo. Blvd and Tennessee in Glendale (thank you Yada Yada Blog for the link, I didn't get my own picture when I was driving home from work and saw the protest), which by the way has always put inflammatory comments on their billboard. Its always hellfire and brimstone. I am just really glad someone "called" them on their shit about the sign (but for the record a passerby went and bought a ladder at the home depot across the way and took down the word "jew") and they didn't actually change the sign because they wanted to, the media harped on them so much that they did).
Fucking ass hole mel my dad doesn't belive the Holo caust gi b s o n (don't need the referals thank you very much). He has been in the "business" long enough to know how the machine works and he used the press to a tee. I hope that everyone that played into it, including the local media here in Denver realize that they have been played. I don't know how the movie got only a "R" rating.
In much more pleasent news... I swear.
Fun (not) week in the office. I was busy, shlepping the computers all over the place and the yentas in the office were driving me nuts. One of the schmucks that I work with did something that was so over the top to me I just have to laugh because if it wasn't so completely mean it would be comical.
A person from my past made a nasty beligerant comment directed completely to me via her blog and then I think honestly got pissed that I didn't make any machinations to react publically (even though I am doing so now). It made me think alot about that miserable cow and how she played this game all the time I knew her and I played right into her trap, but not this time. She can stuff her attitude about who she thinks I am. She is clueless.
I am watching The Nanny. So amazingly funny. I miss it.
