Yes its true... I am searching for the ultimate in something other than Chanel No. 5. I have no clue where to find Comme des Garcons here in Denver, but I am betting that if I go to Nordstroms that would be a pretty good start. I mean really what office slave like myself isn't going to want to smell like " Photocopy Toner, Dust on a Lightbulb, Electric Toaster and Ink" . Actually I think the idea is quite fun.
What is not a fun idea is possible intestines in a hallway. My guess is that what is going to be discovered is that it is cableing of some sort that fell out of a wet bucket. Happens all the time. Ok I am just trying to paint a prettier picture than what possibly really happened. Entrails in the stairwell is ...well... freakie. Ain't NYC fun?
Bad date guy from last Thursday (tm) called. Can't honestly say I am that into the idea of a second date with the guy. It is always nice to be asked don't get me wrong and seriously I thought I might, but then he got all kvetchie about his job and didn't say hello even and again asked for me by the wrong name... I mean really how interested can he really be? I may be on a long stretch without any real action, but honey, I am surely NOT that desperate. Please don't call me at home, uh thanks. And to Mr. Wonderful... I know you are out there... You my darlink can call, you know who you are!
Interesting to see that Party Monster is actually going to see the light of release. I seriously thought it was going to permanently be shelved. Apparantly now there is alot of press about it... 20/20 has several things lined up not only Barbara Walters interviewing MaCulay but Alig actually gets an interview too... here is one online on his site... (but seriously not worth going to the graphics are unbelievable and its bullshit to actually try and read anything on the site, sorry exatasy comping children... it isn't a good site... at all). So why my interest in this whole thing? Years and years and years ago... I ended up doing promotion at the club here locally that Alig and his drug addled "club kids" (fellow drug addicts) were hired to be at. I was annoyed and disgusted by their drugged bratty behaviour. Then months later I heard about the murder, DJ Keoiki left town (with his really long toe nails... what is up with that?), and then the book came out. I thought it was very interesting actually. And yes I will watch the 20/20 interviews, and I will probably see the movie. What the hell. Maybe I could do that for my second date with Bad Date Guy from Last Thursday (tm). It would probably freak him right into not ever calling me again, he doesn't appear to be the kind of guy that would appreciate it. If the movie is done well that is, which it probably isn't. I want to see the decline side of the whole thing. I want to see the unglamourous side that was actually very well portrayed in the book. Denver never had a really hu-gunga club kid scene and seriously when they did they were flown in. So its almost foriegn. Almost like a foriegn film then. Oy, I am stretching.
