no love for the virus...any of em....

the worm has all but monopolized much of my time. I have been clearing it out of machines for the past week and assuring one person that as long as they update their virus definitions daily and apply the patch provided they will be ok, but paranoia reigns supreme. Which really isn't a bad thing but being called into an office every 10 minutes with the question "is this email ok to open?" is annoying as all get out. It would make one terrific SNL skit though.

Also my cousin has West Nile. This is the more devistating of the virsuses that I am not liking very much. This is the father of a kid, a hard working guy, a husband and he now has encephalits due to West Nile. Its devistating and unfortunately preventable. But thankfully he is home from the hospital, on some serious medications to keep his brain from swelling more (dear gawd how horrific) and has a very very long recovery ahead of him. Think the really good thought(s). He should be fine, but its scarey as hell.

Apply your worm patches from Microsoft kiddies, upgrade your virus definitions (its worth the 40 bucks from Norton... belive me, your computer will love you and I will too since I won't have to come and clean up your registry) and make sure to put on your super strength mosquito repellant if you are out at dusk or dawn, just carry it with you and spray it on, heed my warning. Its that one time you think that you don't need it and you do.

PS wear a condom too, thats important also.
