I go cable internet tommorrow

hotmail sounds like 70's porn ....that from the mouth of my favorite customer service representative from Comcast. The guy is a complete hoot and seriously, and I don't know how this happens, but almost everytime I call to say that the cable is out... he is the one I talk to. Almost everytime.

Can't explain how seriously excited I am to get off the dsl train. Never been more happy about anything in my entire life, ok getting rid of that stupid Devil Wears Prada book was a pretty good thing (it was horrible.... hated every word almost... there was a "the" and an "a" and maybe even an "and" that was ok, but really... almost everything else...not worth my time, energy and especially 12.99 from costco).

The cat lady didn't get the condo above me, the realtor was walking around up there at 6:00 in the morning and woke me up, he was taking out the sign, two brothers (not brothas, as far as I know) bought it and closed today. No sign of them. I hope that they are 80 and quiet, not 30 and going to rent it out. I suppose when the moving van pulls up this weekend at some point I will know for sure. Sorry the cat lady couldn't get her financing.

Had a baking disaster tonite. Went to make my patented Zoe Carrot Cake and was out of baby food carrots, thought oooo I have some Harry and David's Raspberry Curd stuff, that will taste great. I think it would have made a great substitute, but unfortunately.... It made the batter too moist and exploded all over the oven, so after cooling the oven down and cleaning it out... made my no fail, coffee strudel pan cake... um weird this recipie has to have baking powder... oh yeah you add that will the sugar and flour, not after you have added the milk... damnit... so I added it anyway with the old trick my pastry chef pal told me...double the measure. Mix hard (meaning on the kitchen aid HIGH) and stick in the oven right away. Well that would only help if you turn ON the oven. so the coffee cake proofed in an oven that was half as hot as it should be. so I baked it at the right temp for half the time the recipie called for, plus five minutes with the oven again and on purpose turned off. And the coffee cake will be fine for the office folks tommorrow. They will never know the major brain strain it took to make it.

Its cooling on the counter and the house actually smells like it should, all cinnamonie and warm.
