I just about got excited for a sec...

When I was a pre teen, what stupid ass (but very rich...I hate them) Mary Kate and Ashley now market to as tweens, once a week for about 6 months we used to go to the Pop Shoppe next to the Target in Glendale. It was a huge deal. It was soooo much fun. We would get lime soda, chocolate soda, grape soda, bubblegum soda, take the emptys back the next week and start all over again. My parents were totally broke and 5 bucks a six pack (I'll imagine) was a little steep, but the thought of behaving all week, doing our chores (ok really just keeping the crap off our floors) was enough to keep us in line, and definately cheaper than some crazy ass allowance.

It was definately a treat.

All of a sudden....bam... the store became a Tuesday Morning and no more pop shoppe.

I swear to gawd, if I ever go to British Columbia, there is one there.... Pop Shoppe Article...., the store mentioned in this article is gone but apparantly there is one in, Kelowna. Which makes a trip to my Northern Neighbors (which I have wanted to do since my pre livejournal/but anarchy days and when I came back from a vacay in Toronto) that much more appealing!

Hell I made a special trip to Toronto so that I could go to Sugar Mountain (the one right near Second City) and buy some Canadian Pez (which at the time was totally different than American Pez, fyi) from the "room of pez" and got to try this really funky ass gum that tasted like soap on purpose, Oh and I did visit my brother too. Why can't I go to British Columbia for bubblegum flavored pop...? Huh? Tell me!

So now I have a hankering for something weird... I am thinking a trip to the market for some Canfields may be in order!
